These awards recognize significant contributions to quality or innovation in the delivery of cancer care. Eligible nominees must be involved in the delivery of cancer care within Ontario. The nomination deadline is September 30, 2008.

Study finds young people spend the most time in the sun and are least likely to be protected
Young people spend the most time in the sun and are least likely to be protected from overexposure to the sun, according to a national survey led by Cancer Care Ontario Senior Scientist and Director of Surveillance Dr. Loraine Marrett, and funded by the Canadian Cancer Society.

Three New Cancer Drugs Now Available In Ontario
Ontario is investing $50 million to give cancer patients better treatment options with three new drugs -- including Avastin for the treatment of colorectal cancer.
Eligibility forms
for Avastin (Bevacizumab) and Alimta (Pemetrexed) are now available for physicians.
